Back in Mauritius: 14-Year-Old Ashraf’s Life Saved
Caunhye Ashraf, 14 years old, has now returned to Mauritius after several weeks of specialized medical care in Mumbai following a serious accident that caused multiple facial fractures.
He successfully underwent several surgical procedures, including:
- repair of an orbital fracture with bone graft
- correction of a nasal fracture
- treatment of a foot injury
His hospital stay was completed without major complications, with a stable and satisfactory post-operative recovery.
Medical examinations also confirmed the absence of any intracranial injury, which is a very reassuring outcome.
Today, Ashraf is back home and currently in the recovery phase, with continued medical follow-up by OMCA to ensure optimal healing.
