Update: Ridwan – Blood Cancer Detected at an Early Stage
Baulum Mohammad Ridwan is currently receiving specialized medical care after comprehensive tests confirmed multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects the bone marrow.
However, doctors have indicated that it is at Stage 1 (early stage), which is a significant positive factor, as the disease has been detected in time and is considered treatable.
The patient is currently stable and responding well to treatment, with pain effectively managed through medication. He has begun VRD chemotherapy, a treatment protocol combining multiple drugs to reduce and control the disease.
A total of 16 treatment cycles is planned, to be administered gradually. Following this, a bone marrow transplant may be considered depending on his response to treatment, to improve long-term disease control.
At this stage, his progress is considered encouraging, and discharge from the hospital will be planned once his condition allows.
