UPDATE: Axel under intensive monitoring with encouraging signs of reactivity

Grandcourt Axel Brady is currently under close care in intensive care after presenting post-operative respiratory impairment with decreased oxygen and metabolic acidosis, requiring intubation and ventilator assistance.

Being a known patient with severe myasthenia, the current evolution is strongly in favor of post-operative myasthenic crisis, being actively taken care of by resuscitation, neurology and intensive care teams.

Despite this critical phase, some signs remain encouraging. The vital constants are currently stable and the patient, although intubated and under assisted ventilation, responds to commands, which is a positive element in his evolution.

Intensive monitoring of OMCA is maintained to ensure respiratory stabilization, correction of metabolic parameters and optimization of neurological treatment.

This period remains tricky, but intensive multidisciplinary management is fully engaged with hopes of a progressive stabilization.
